It all started with a mermaid

When I dressed up as Marina the Mermaid, I had the opportunity to bring moments of joy to children. I discovered sewing your own mermaid costumes can be a fun and rewarding experience, especially if you enjoy working with fabrics and creating your own designs. You can experiment with different materials, colors, and textures to create a unique and personalized look for each costume. I started selling my creations at craft fairs and other events and families with their children loved it. and eventually open my own retail store. From 2014-2021, I ran Marina Bella Co.

In 2022, After the tragedy in my hometown, I wrote my first children’s book. I am very inspired to continue writing children’s books! The overwhelming support and demand for my first children’s book humbled me. Witnessing the positive and rapid reception of my work reaffirmed my commitment to helping those with trauma and supporting children now through literature.

Today I live in Destin with my daughter. I dedicated 100% of my life to my daughter’s health & healing. I really love to see others happy, it gives me so much joy to know I have contributed to the best of my ability and made someone happy!
